Enrollment FAQ’s


Children are accepted for enrollment on a first come/first serve basis.  If space is not currently available, a child may be placed on the waiting list at no charge.  Registration fee is due when a spot is available, if the parent wishes to enroll their child in that spot.

What is the cost?

We share our pricing information with potential parents when they schedule a tour of our facility.   Our rates are comparable with other centers that offer the amenities that we offer.  We also offer parents comparison information so that they can see how our program measures up with other area centers in regards to tuition, curriculum, meals and other options.  We understand that cost is a very important factor when choosing a facility, therefore, we endeavor to make sure that our parents get the most for their money and strive to offer more than just “daycare” for our families.  We find that when parents come in for a tour, they are able to really experience the Peachwood program and all that we offer to our families. What is the enrollment process?

  • Tour the facility.  Come and meet our director, administrative staff, and teachers.  Come and take a look at our classrooms and playgrounds.  There is no standard “time” for tours.  Some parents take 10 minutes-and some stay for upwards of half an hour.  The most important thing is that we answer all of your questions and make sure that you are confident that you have all of the information that you need to make an informed decision when you leave.
  • Go over the paperwork.  Let us know what your care needs are and we will do our best to accommodate your family.  We will go over all required state paperwork with you as well as our own registration paperwork and the tuition agreement.
  • If, after a tour and review of paperwork, you decide to enroll your child(ren), the $130.00 per child registration fee and the first week’s tuition will hold their spot.20140313_105216
  • Parents will be asked to carefully read our 2016-2017 Handbook for answers to questions they may not have even though to ask yet!

How soon can my child start?

  • Unless a room is fully enrolled, we are able to start children as quickly as possible when need be, sometimes even the next day!

What do I need to get my child started?

  • All enrollment paperwork must be filled out FULLY before your child can be placed in a classroom.
  • A copy of your child’s shot records must be on file.
  • $130.00 registration fee plus the first week’s tuition must be paid in full.

What are the payment options?

  • You may pay your registration fee with a credit card, electronic bank draft (we will need to see a check), personal check, or cash.  Tuition payments may also be paid via any one of those four methods.  Additional detailed payment questions are answered in our Tuition Agreement and Handbook.

Do you take DCF Subsidies?

  • Yes, we accept DCF subsidies.
  • Parents are responsible for the cost of tuition that the subsidy does not cover.

Do you take St. Francis Assistance?

  • Yes, we accept St. Francis Care Assistance.

Do you take Child Care Aware?

  • Yes, we accept Child Care Aware Military Assistance.
  • We are a preferred military provider that offers our families who may have members deployed an opportunity to see their children in real time on camera from anywhere they have an internet connected device.
